The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a popular vehicle in North America. The sport utility vehicle (SUV) offers many different models to choose from, but the most popular are the L and Overland trims. Recently, Chrysler revealed new features for these two models including off-road capability and increased horsepower.

The following are highlights on some of the best features of each trim level so you can decide which one is right for you.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a 5-star overall crash test rating, while the standard L model has 4 stars on rollovers, frontal impacts and side impacts. More safety features are included with this trim level. One of these is "Stow 'n Go" seating for up to 7 people which means the back seats can be folded down and the seats put away for maximum room. A new feature which has been added is a power liftgate with accident avoidance technology, making it possible to open and close the hatch without leaving your seat.
